FOR SALES' SAKE MEDITATE!

Vincent J. Daczynski

Chapter 7 (cont.)

Being More Efficient

Some salesmen achieve success through hard work alone. By pushing themselves extra hard they can overcompensate for their lack of inner-connectivity. They then proclaim that success is achieved through hard work. Work is experienced as being hard when it is not being done easily and harmoniously; when it is being forced. Work that is performed efficiently is not fatiguing. Efficiency is harmony. Establish your awareness at the level of the mind where perfect orderliness is found and your actions will be harmonious. This is the technique for efficiency.

Techniques enable us to accomplish more with less effort. If we want to move a large boulder we use the technique of a lever and with little effort we accomplish a lot. A child futilely tries to catch a floating feather by grasping at it. The air currents caused by her hand motions push the feather away from her. An adult, having a broader perspective of the laws of nature, knows to gently place an open palm beneath the falling feather which alights into the grasp with minimal effort to secure it.

The TM technique, by bringing order and efficiency to the salesman's actions, enables the salesman to accomplish much, much more for his efforts.

Success is its own positive feedback. Success results in job satisfaction. A successful salesman is optimistic and enthusiastic regardless of the radical changes in the economy and environment that may be taking place around him. The salesman whose awareness is established in the home of all the laws of nature will always come out on top regardless of external factors. What appears to be confusion and chaos in the environment to a person with a myopic vision is a harmonious display of rapid change to a person with expanded vision. The more rapid the change, the greater is the opportunity. A person whose awareness is established at the source and cause of change will act in harmony with the changes and will view even radical changes and circumstances as opportunities. He will succeed easily while others work hard and fail. It is only a matter of anchoring the mind at its source where perfect orderliness exists, and spontaneously thinking, speaking and action will be in harmony with nature, and man will succeed because nature always succeeds.

To recap: The key to performing efficient, successful action is having an awareness established at the level of one's own inner being. The TM technique does this.

You will not have to practice the TM technique for weeks, months or years on the basis of faith and hope that someday you will achieve some results. No. The first inward stroke of the TM technique will connect you to your own inner being and this will be a quantum leap in unfolding your awareness. It is the experience of millions of people all over the world who started the TM program that results are immediate and are cumulative with the continuation of the practice.
